Change to Maimonides Visitor Policy

Please note the following changes to Maimonides’ Visitor Policy, effective tomorrow, Wednesday, December 29th.

 

Visitors to all patient areas, except the below, will be required to show proof of full vaccination for COVID-19, or proof of a negative PCR test for COVID-19, taken within 72 hours prior to their visit. (Self-administered and/or positive anti-body tests will not be accepted as proof of status). Also, please note that visitation will be limited to ONE visitor at the patient bedside.

Visitors or support persons accompanying patients to the following areas will be exempted from this requirement, except to the extent that such visitors fail to meet Medical Center screening criteria:

 

  • Labor and Delivery
  • Mother and Baby
  • Children’s Hospital
  • Emergency Department
  • Same Day Surgery
  • Physician Offices
  • Outpatient Locations
